Tomorrow

So... someone very dear to me that I care about very much is turning 30 in just a few days (7 to be exact!). I wrote this to explain my feelings on the situation and hopefully ease him:

"Tomorrow"

Do not worry about tomorrow, love
for we cannot fear what we're unsure of.
The sun will rise
and it shall set,
but between, be content.

Tomorrow you grow older
and soon I hope to follow.
If God be gracious
to grant me tomorrow.

Tomorrow, tommorow...
Oh, it comes hurriedly!
So close your eyes, rest your head
and stay with me.
